Studying abroad is a big step for a student from Oman and for the family that supports them. The airport pickup is a small part of the plan, but it is the first thing that must go right. A fixed price and a driver who is expecting you keep it simple.

Flying from Muscat and beyond
Students from Oman usually fly from Muscat, and some travel from other cities first. The route to Sydney is long-haul and often includes a stop. Please check your own ticket for your schedule and do not rely on a general estimate.
Oman uses UTC+4 all year. Sydney is on UTC+10 in Australian winter and UTC+11 in daylight saving time, which usually runs from October to April. Sydney is about 6 hours ahead in winter and about 7 hours ahead in daylight saving time.
The arrival: immigration, bags and biosecurity
At T1 you go through immigration, collect your luggage and pass biosecurity. Give yourself time and do not rush. We track your flight, so the driver arrives for your real landing time.

How much luggage, which vehicle
Enter the true number of large bags, carry-on bags and any bulky items in the booking form. A Premium Sedan such as a Lexus ES, Camry or similar suits one or two people with up to two large bags and one carry-on. A Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar suits three large bags. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits four or more large bags, or bulky items.
For international arrivals the form assumes at least one large bag and one carry-on for each passenger, so the right vehicle is sent.
Booking for a student from home
A parent or guardian can complete the whole booking from Oman. Add the student's details and the arrival flight number, then pay online by card. The fare is in Australian dollars, and your bank may convert it from Omani rial.

Short-stay housing before the term starts
Many students arrive two or three weeks before classes. They may stay in a hotel, a short-term rental or a room in a shared house while they look for somewhere permanent. Enter the exact address of your first stay.
When you move, you can book another fixed-fare ride in Sydney once you have the new address.
Going home for the break
For semester breaks and the end of the course, book the trip to T1 ahead of time. Add your flight time, luggage count and address. The fare is agreed before the day, and there is no meter.
Early booking is helpful in busy periods, when many students travel at the same time.

What if the flight lands late at night or very early in the morning?
We track your flight number. The driver adjusts to the real landing time, and the fixed fare stays the same.
How do I choose the right vehicle size?
Enter your true number of passengers and bags in the calculator and it will suggest a size. Vehicles are assigned by availability, so the make can vary, which is why we always say "or similar".
Can I book the trip home at the end of term now?
Yes. Book from your Sydney address to T1 in advance and pick a time with a comfortable margin before check-in.
