A long journey from Kuwait City
Students from Kuwait fly a long way to reach Sydney. Flights are usually long-haul and many routes include a stop, so total travel time can run to a full day or more. Please check your own ticket for your exact schedule.

Students moving for a degree often bring several large bags plus a carry-on. A Premium Sedan such as a Lexus ES, Camry or similar suits one or two people with up to two large bags and one carry-on. A Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar suits three large bags. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits four or more large bags, or bulky items.
Please declare your real bags in the booking. It is better to book the right size in advance than to find that everything does not fit on arrival.
Parents and guardians booking from Kuwait
You do not need to be in Sydney to make the booking. Enter your own contact details, add the student's flight number, arrival date and destination address, and pay online by card using the secure link we send by SMS and email. The fare is in Australian dollars, and your bank may convert it from Kuwaiti dinar.
Forward the confirmation to the student so they know where to meet the driver and what to expect.
First-week accommodation and orientation
Some students go straight to a university residence. Others move into a shared apartment or short-term accommodation while they search for a room. Give the full street address, and add the building name and unit number if you have them.
If you arrive a few days before orientation week, you get time to rest, buy a local SIM card and find the nearest shops before classes begin.
The trip home at the end of term
When exams finish, book your ride back to T1 from your Sydney address. Add your flight time, your bag count and a pickup time that leaves plenty of room. The fare is fixed before the day, so you can plan your budget.
