About Sydney Fixed Fare Taxi — premium fixed-fare transfers
Sydney Fixed Fare Taxi is a premium fixed-fare booking service for taxi and hire-car trips across Greater Sydney. Airport runs, cruise transfers, suburban work, and long-distance trips — quoted upfront, locked in writing, paid at drop-off.

Sydney's transport market has a clear gap. On one side, metered taxis and rideshare apps — affordable on a good day, expensive at peak, surge-priced when it rains, with the meter ticking all the way to the airport and no certainty of the final figure. On the other side, chauffeur companies — clean cars, sharp drivers, and fares that start at $200 before tolls.
We don't sit at either end. Sydney Fixed Fare is a premium fixed-fare airport transfer service: late-model Lexus/Toyota premium vehicles where available, professional drivers, and a price locked in writing before the wheels turn. More certain than a meter. Far less than a chauffeur.
What we promise — and what we don't.
What we promise
- The fare won't change. Tolls, traffic, peak hour, late-night loadings — already in the number.
- Quote in writing the moment the A$10 deposit clears. Locked.
- Cancel free up to 2 hours before pickup. No questions, no fee.
- Flight tracking on airport runs — adjusted at no extra cost.
- Digital receipt by SMS and email on completion.
What we don't
- We don't name a specific car. Bookings are dispatched in late-model Lexus/Toyota premium vehicles where available — Premium Sedan, Premium SUV, or People Mover depending on passengers and luggage. The exact vehicle is assigned at dispatch.
- We don't claim to be the cheapest taxi in Sydney. Metered services can quote less on a good day. They can also cost a lot more on a bad one.
- We don't surge price. Same fare 3am Saturday or 3pm Tuesday.
- We don't run silver service. Our driver network includes silver service drivers and operators from every major Sydney taxi network — we work only with those who meet our standards. We're an independent booking service, not affiliated with any single co-operative's brand.
Driver and vehicle standards.
Every driver in our dispatch pool is fully authorised and vetted against our own service standards. That means:
- Current Driver Authority for the vehicle class booked
- Uniformed presentation and ID visible at pickup
- Fluent English-speaking, familiar with Sydney roads and airport zones
- Clean, late-model premium vehicle — air conditioning working, boot space clear, Lexus or similar where available
- Card or cash accepted at drop-off; receipt issued automatically
The fixed fare is the binding promise. The specific make, model and year of the vehicle that arrives on the day is assigned by dispatch based on availability — that's how every legitimate booking service in Sydney works.
