Which Western Sydney University campus is yours?
Western Sydney University has campuses in several parts of Greater Western Sydney, including Parramatta, Penrith, Campbelltown and Bankstown. Some other sites exist as well. Your course may be based at one campus or move between them, so check your enrolment details.
The fare depends on where you are going, not on the name of the university. That is why the calculator asks for your suburb or street address.
Distances from the airport
Parramatta and Bankstown are the nearer options, and Campbelltown and Penrith are further out. Journey times vary with traffic and the time of day. On a long trip out to the west, a fixed fare protects you from a meter that keeps rising.
Tolls on the agreed route are included in your fixed fare. We do not add surge pricing.
Living near a western campus
Students live in student accommodation, apartments and family homes in and around the campus suburbs. Some live a few suburbs away and travel by train, bus or car.
Always use the full street address of where you are staying. If it is a new development, add the building name and the nearest cross street.
After your flight lands
You will pass immigration, collect your bags and clear biosecurity. Then you meet your driver in the arrivals area. We track your flight number and change the pickup to fit your true landing time.
If you want someone with a name sign inside the terminal, the A$25 meet-and-greet extra is available.
Luggage on a longer trip
A long ride is more comfortable with the right vehicle. A Premium Sedan suits one or two people with up to two large bags. A Premium SUV (Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar) suits three large bags or three to four people. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits five people, four or more large bags and larger items.
The booking form assumes at least one large bag per person on international arrivals. Please enter your real numbers.
Returning at term end, and booking for family
You can book your suburb to T1 in advance for the end of term. Allow generous time for the trip back to the airport.
