A longer run across the city
Macquarie University is in Macquarie Park, in Sydney's north-west. It is on the other side of the harbour from the airport, so this is a longer trip than a run to the inner city. Plan for a journey that can take from around 40 minutes to an hour or more, depending on the time of day.
Because the trip is longer, a fixed fare is useful. A meter would keep counting when traffic slows. Our fare is agreed before you fly, and tolls on the agreed route are included.
Around the campus
The campus sits in a business and technology area with a large shopping centre, offices and a train and metro connection nearby. Students often live in Macquarie Park, North Ryde, Marsfield, Ryde, Epping or Eastwood, in apartments, houses or student accommodation.

Landing and meeting your driver
After landing at T1, you clear immigration, collect your bags and pass biosecurity. Then you walk into the arrivals area. Your driver is already booked, and we track your flight so the pickup follows your real landing time.
A late flight does not change the price. If you would like help inside the terminal, the A$25 meet-and-greet extra adds a name sign and luggage help.
Bags, bikes and boxes
Students who will live in Macquarie Park for a year often bring a lot. One or two people with two large bags can use a Premium Sedan. Three large bags or three to four people suit a Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar. For four large bags, or bulky items, choose a People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar.
