The trip to Strathfield
The Australian Catholic University has a campus at Strathfield, in Sydney's inner west. From the airport the driver normally travels through the inner suburbs and west along the main roads. The trip is a medium-length run that can be quick off-peak and slower in the rush hours.

The Strathfield area
Strathfield is a busy suburb with a large train station, shops and a mix of apartments and houses. Nearby suburbs such as Burwood, Homebush and Croydon are also popular with students. Many students rent a room close to a train line.

Landing after a long journey
You will clear immigration and biosecurity before you exit to the arrivals area. If the queue is long, your driver waits. We track your flight number and follow your real landing time.
If you land in the middle of the night, your booking still holds. You do not need to look for a taxi or discuss a price.
Bags and vehicle size
A Premium Sedan carries one or two people with up to two large bags and one carry-on bag. If you have three large bags, book a Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar. For four or more large bags, or bulky boxes, book a People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar.
Your vehicle is assigned by dispatch based on passengers, luggage and availability.
The trip home at term end
Book Strathfield to T1 ahead of time and choose a pickup time that leaves room before your international check-in. Check your airline's advice on when to arrive.

Strathfield is on a busy train line, so some students also use trains for daily study trips. The airport taxi is most useful on arrival and departure days, when you carry all your bags and a train with stairs and crowds is hard work.
