A shorter long-haul flight
A direct flight from Singapore to Sydney is commonly around 7 to 8 hours. Please check your own ticket for your exact schedule. Singapore uses UTC+8 all year. Sydney is 2 hours ahead in Australian winter and 3 hours ahead in daylight saving time, which usually runs from October to April.
The shorter flight can lead to an early-morning or late-evening arrival. Either way, a driver who is already booked saves a lot of effort.
What happens in the terminal
You land at International Terminal T1. You clear immigration, collect bags and go through biosecurity. Then you walk into the arrivals area.
We track your flight number. The driver adjusts to the actual landing time. A late plane does not change your fixed fare.
Parents booking from Singapore
Parents and guardians can book online for a student. Enter the flight number, arrival date, passenger count, luggage and destination address. Add your own phone and email and forward the confirmation to the student.
Some families fly to Sydney with the student for the first week. In that case, choose a vehicle for the whole group.
Bags, family and vehicle size
A Premium Sedan fits one or two people with up to two large bags and one carry-on. A Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar suits three large bags or three to four people. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits four or more large bags, five or more people, or bulky items.
Because student luggage is often heavier than a holiday, add the real numbers.
Settling in and the first weeks
Many students move into student accommodation near campus. Others share a house with other students. Give the exact street address, and add a building name if there is one.
You can also book a second fixed-fare trip for another day, such as a family visit or a move between addresses.
Paying online and returning home
You pay online by card using the secure link we send by SMS and email. The fare is in Australian dollars, and your bank may convert it from Singapore dollars.
At the end of term, book your Sydney address to T1. Add your flight time and choose a pickup with a good margin.
