Flying from the UAE to Sydney
The flight from the UAE to Sydney is one of the longer routes. If the flight is direct, the time is often around 14 hours, and it is longer with a stop. Check your own ticket for the exact time.
The UAE stays on UTC+4 all year. Sydney is 6 hours ahead during Australian winter and 7 hours ahead in daylight saving time, which usually runs from October to April. A student can land feeling very tired. It helps to have a ride already arranged.
Landing at Sydney T1
The plane lands at International Terminal T1. The student then passes immigration, collects bags and clears biosecurity. On busy mornings this can take a while.
We track your flight number. The driver follows the actual landing time and meets the student in arrivals. If the flight is early or late, you do not need to change the booking.
Big bags, longer stays
Many students move to Sydney for a full degree, and the bags show it. Premium Sedan suits one or two people with up to two large bags. A Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar suits three large bags. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits four or more large bags, or a family group.

A parent books, the student travels
You do not need to be in Sydney to make the booking. Put your own phone and email in the form, and add the student's flight number, arrival date and destination address. Forward the confirmation to the student.
Sharing the arrival details also helps if a relative or friend in Sydney is meeting the student.
Settling in during the first week
Some students go to a hotel or a rented apartment for the first few days, then move into their student accommodation. You can book a second fixed-fare trip for moving day. Start from the arrival address and add the new address.
Orientation week is a good time to arrive early. It leaves room for banking, a phone plan and a visit to the campus.
Payment and the trip home
You pay online by card using the secure link we send after you book. The fare is in Australian dollars, and your bank may convert it from dirhams.
When the term ends, book the student's address to T1 again. Choose a pickup time with a good margin for the flight.
