From the airport to Camperdown and Darlington
The main University of Sydney campus sits at Camperdown and Darlington, close to the inner west and just south-west of the CBD. From T1 the driver usually takes main roads into the inner city and out towards City Road or Parramatta Road. The exact route depends on the time of day.
Your fare is fixed for the route we agree. If traffic is heavy, the price does not go up. Tolls on the agreed route are included.
The area around the campus
The neighbourhoods around the campus include Newtown, Glebe, Chippendale, Redfern and Camperdown. Many students live in apartments, terraces, shared houses or purpose-built student accommodation within walking or short public-transport distance of lectures.
Some University of Sydney faculties teach at other sites in Sydney. If your classes are not at Camperdown, check your timetable and put the correct street address into your booking.
What happens after you land
After a long international flight, you must clear immigration and biosecurity before you reach the arrivals area. Take your time. The driver waits for your actual landing and exit time, and we message you the meeting point.
If you land late at night or early in the morning, the booking is still the same. You do not need to find a taxi rank or work out a price in a hurry.
Suitcases, boxes and larger items
Most new students arrive with a lot of luggage. Two people with two large bags fit a Premium Sedan. A group of three or four, or three large bags, usually needs a Premium SUV (Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar). If you bring four large bags or bulky items, book a People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar.

Orientation week and the term-end trip home
Many students arrive a few days before orientation begins. Book the transfer for the day you land, not the day classes start. When the term ends, you can book Camperdown or Darlington back to T1 in the same way.
Save your accommodation address and your return flight details, then book early. The fixed fare stays the same on the day.
Parents and guardians booking from home
If you are a parent or guardian, you can book for your son or daughter and share the confirmation with them. Add their flight number and arrival date so the driver can track the right flight.

How far is the University of Sydney from the airport?
The Camperdown and Darlington campus is in Sydney's inner city. The drive commonly takes somewhere between 20 and 40 minutes depending on traffic and time of day.
Can the driver take me to my student accommodation instead of the campus?
Yes. Enter the full address of your accommodation when you book. We drive door to door.
What if my classes are at a different site?

Do you track my flight?
Yes. Give us your flight number when you book and the driver adjusts to your actual landing time.
