Students commonly fly from Kuala Lumpur, and some from Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching or Kota Kinabalu. A direct flight from Kuala Lumpur is often somewhere around 8 hours, and other routes may stop on the way. Please check your own ticket.
Malaysia uses UTC+8 all year. Sydney is on UTC+10 in Australian winter and UTC+11 in daylight saving time, which usually runs from October to April. Sydney is 2 hours ahead in winter and 3 hours ahead in daylight saving time.
Arriving with friends
If several students arrive on the same flight, you can book one larger vehicle and share it. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits larger groups with bags. If you land at different times, book separate rides so no one waits.

At T1: immigration, bags, biosecurity
After landing, you pass immigration, collect your luggage and go through biosecurity. Australian rules on food and plant items are strict, so declare honestly.
Your driver is ready in the arrivals area. We track your flight number, and the fixed fare does not change if the flight lands late.
Luggage and vehicle size
A Premium Sedan such as a Lexus ES, Camry or similar suits one or two people with up to two large bags and one carry-on. A Premium SUV such as a Kluger, Lexus RX, RAV4 or similar suits three large bags. A People Mover such as a Kia Carnival or similar suits four or more large bags, or bulky items.
For international arrivals, the form assumes at least one large bag and one carry-on for each passenger.
Parents booking from Malaysia
Parents can make the whole booking from home. Add the student's flight number, arrival date and Sydney address, then pay by card using the secure link sent by SMS and email. The fare is in Australian dollars, and your bank may convert it from ringgit.

First week, orientation and the trip home
Give the exact address of your first accommodation, whether it is a residence, shared house or short-term stay. If you have arrived before orientation week, you have time to rest and set up.
At the end of the semester or year, book from your Sydney address to T1 with your flight time and luggage. The fare is agreed in advance.

We track your flight number. The driver adjusts to the real landing time, and the fixed fare stays the same.
How do I choose the right vehicle size?
Enter your true number of passengers and bags in the calculator and it will suggest a size. Vehicles are assigned by availability, so the make can vary, which is why we always say "or similar".
Can I book the trip home at the end of term now?
Yes. Book from your Sydney address to T1 in advance and pick a time with a comfortable margin before check-in.
