Sydney Airport T2 and T3 Domestic Taxi: Fixed Fare, No Meter
A fixed-fare taxi to and from the Sydney Airport domestic terminals. Built for quick turnarounds, carry-on-only flyers and business trips, with the price agreed in writing before you travel.
Domestic travel moves fast. Many people flying between Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or other Australian cities travel with carry-on only, leave late and want a pickup that simply arrives on time. Our Sydney Airport T2 and T3 domestic taxi is designed for that pace. You book ahead, see one fixed fare in the calculator, and your driver takes you straight to the domestic terminals without a meter running. This page is about the domestic side of the airport. If you are flying internationally, use our T1 International page, and for a broader overview read our main Sydney airport taxi guide.
Price your domestic terminal trip
Enter your address and vehicle size to see the exact fixed fare for the domestic terminals. Prices are fixed for standard sedan bookings with normal luggage; SUV and people mover options may cost more depending on passengers, luggage and pickup requirements.
Which domestic terminal am I flying from?
Sydney Airport's domestic flights are handled through the T2 and T3 terminals, and different airlines use different terminals. Airlines can also change which terminal they use, so we do not want to guess for you. Check the terminal shown on your booking confirmation or your airline's app or website before you travel, and tell your driver if you know it. If you are unsure, T2 and T3 are close together, and your driver can help you at the drop-off.
Because our booking treats the domestic terminals as one destination, you do not need to choose between T2 and T3 in the calculator to see your fixed fare. Give us the terminal when you know it so the driver can drop you at the right door.
Carry-on-only flyers and quick departures
If you are travelling with only carry-on, you can usually leave later than an international traveller, and a fixed-fare pre-booked taxi means one less thing to check. Our booking form assumes carry-on for each domestic passenger, so a light traveller is not pushed into a larger vehicle just to fit an assumed suitcase.
Even so, add up your bags honestly. A laptop bag, a garment bag and a small suitcase may still need more space than a compact sedan boot allows. If your load grows, the vehicle steps up to a premium SUV, and you will see the fixed fare change before you confirm.
Pickups on arrival at the domestic terminals
Domestic arrivals are typically quicker than international ones, since there is no customs queue. Bags can still take time to reach the carousel, and that is why we track your flight number. Give it to us at booking. If your flight lands early or runs late, your driver adjusts and your fixed fare does not change.
For arrival pickups, tell us the number of passengers and bags so the right vehicle is assigned. Optional meet and greet is available as a flat +A$25 extra if you want your driver waiting with a name placard.
Business trips and early starts
Many domestic passengers are travelling for work, with early flights out and evening flights home. Pre-booking is a real advantage on those days, because you set the pickup time the night before rather than looking for a car at 5am. For regular travellers, our fixed-fare model also makes it easier to predict the cost of a trip. We do not run a corporate account portal on this page, so for account arrangements please call us.
For an early departure, aim to arrive with time for bag drop, security and boarding, using the recommended times from your airline. Ask us to schedule the pickup earlier if roadworks or weather are a concern.
Vehicles and service standard
Our bookings are dispatched in late-model Lexus or Toyota premium vehicles where available, with SUV and people mover options for families, groups and extra luggage. The exact car is assigned by dispatch, so we describe it as a Lexus or similar premium sedan rather than promising a specific model. Every driver is professional and ID-visible, and you get a digital receipt afterwards.
The honest answers.
Do I need to know whether I am flying from T2 or T3?
It helps, but you do not need it to see your fixed fare. Check your booking confirmation for your terminal and tell your driver so you are dropped at the right door.
Can I pre-book a domestic arrival pickup?
Yes. Give us your flight number at booking so the driver can adjust to the actual landing time. The fixed fare does not change with a delay.
I only have carry-on. Will I be charged for a bigger car?
Only if your load needs one. A carry-on-only domestic passenger normally travels in a premium sedan. Declare your bags honestly and the calculator will show the fixed fare for the right vehicle.
Is there a surge at peak times?
No. The fare is fixed and agreed before you travel. Some days and late-night hours carry a published surcharge, which the calculator includes in the price you see.
Can I add meet and greet?
Yes, for a flat +A$25 extra, added at booking.
Is this a silver service taxi for the domestic terminals?
No. We're Sydney Fixed Fare Taxi, an independent booking service, and we're not affiliated with any silver service taxi co-operative. Some customers look for a silver service style, fixed-fare alternative to a metered ride, and that is what we offer: the fare is agreed in writing before pickup, with no meter and no surge.
