A day out by metered taxi is a gamble: the meter runs at every stop and in every queue.
Rideshare apps rarely accept a full-day regional run at all, and when they do the price reshuffles on every leg. A fixed day rate removes all of that. One fare for the whole day — the drive out, the waiting at each lookout, cellar door or beach, and the drive home — agreed before you leave Sydney. Linger over lunch, add a stop, stay for the sunset: the fare does not move. You are paying for a driver and a car for the day, not for the clock. Fares over the upgrade threshold also qualify for a complimentary luxury hire-car upgrade, subject to availability on your travel day.

What is a Sydney day trip with a private driver?
A driver and vehicle for the whole day at one fixed fare. We collect you in Sydney, drive to the region, hold the car while you explore each stop, and bring you home — all on your schedule. You are hiring a driver and a car for the day, not paying for kilometres and minutes on a meter.
Which day trips do you run from Sydney?
Our most-booked private day trips are the Blue Mountains (Echo Point, Scenic World, Leura), the Hunter Valley wine country (Pokolbin cellar doors and a long lunch), Nelson Bay and Port Stephens (dolphins and the Stockton dunes), and Jervis Bay (Hyams Beach and Booderee National Park). Is the day rate fixed for the whole day?
Yes. The day rate is locked in writing before you leave Sydney and covers the drive each way and the waiting at every stop. Heavy traffic or an extra hour at a lookout does not change the fare. The number you see is the number you pay.
Does the driver wait while we explore each stop?
We wait. A day trip is a single booking — the driver holds the car at each lookout, cellar door or beach and is there when you come back. There is no second-pickup charge and no fresh fare for each leg. One car, one driver, one fixed price for the day.
How do we get a price and pay?
Tell us the day trip and your group on the quote form. We send your fixed day rate by SMS and email. There is no deposit — once you confirm, we text and email a secure Stripe link to pay the fixed fare in full. Nothing extra to settle on the day.
What vehicle will we travel in?
A clean, late-model premium vehicle — a Lexus or Toyota sedan (Lexus ES, Camry or similar) for up to four, a Premium SUV (Kluger, Lexus RX or similar) for a bigger group or extra luggage, or a Kia Carnival or similar people mover for larger parties. The exact vehicle is assigned by dispatch based on your group and availability.
