What the day looks like

Your stops, your pace.

A private driver holds the car at every stop — you set the order, we handle the road.

Hyams Beach white sand

Some of the whitest sand in the world on a calm, clear bay. Your driver drops you at the beach access and waits.

Booderee National Park

Walking tracks, the Cape St George lighthouse ruins and quiet swimming beaches at the southern end of the bay.

Huskisson village

The bay's main town for lunch — fish and chips by the water, a brewery, and boat-cruise departures.

Dolphin & whale cruise

Jervis Bay's clear water is a year-round dolphin haunt, with whales passing in migration season.

The destination

A day in Jervis Bay.

Jervis Bay is a sheltered, glass-clear bay about three hours south of Sydney, famous for the brilliant white sand at Hyams Beach and the calm turquoise water of the whole shoreline. A day trip takes in Hyams Beach and the quieter beaches along the bay, the walking tracks and lighthouse ruins of Booderee National Park at the southern end, and lunch in the waterfront village of Huskisson, where the dolphin and whale cruises depart. The bay's resident dolphins are there year-round and migrating whales pass in season. It is a long way for a day — three hours each way — which is exactly why a private driver makes sense: you arrive rested, the car waits at every beach and trailhead, and you sleep on the way home instead of driving the Princes Highway in the dark. Tell us whether you want beach time, bushwalks, a cruise or all three, and we will shape the day to fit the daylight.

Why a fixed day rate

Jervis Bay is at the far edge of a comfortable day trip from Sydney, and the distance is what makes a metered or rideshare fare both unpredictable and unreliable — most apps simply will not accept a return run this far south. A fixed day rate is the honest way to price it: A$680 for a Premium Sedan, agreed in writing before you leave, covering the drive down, the waiting while you swim and walk, and the drive home. Stay for the sunset at Hyams or add a bushwalk in Booderee — the fare does not move. The coastal distance is already built into one number, so there is nothing to work out at the end of a long day.

Timing & logistics

The drive from Sydney to Jervis Bay is about three hours each way via the M1 Princes Motorway and the Princes Highway through Nowra. Because it is a long run, a Jervis Bay day starts early and gets home late — we plan a morning departure so you have the full middle of the day at the bay. Summer and holiday traffic on the Princes Highway can add time; we build a buffer and the fixed fare holds. Tell us your priorities and we will balance beach, bushwalk and lunch against the daylight.

Frequently asked

The honest answers.

What does the Jervis Bay day trip include?

A private driver and vehicle for the whole day at one fixed fare. We collect you in Sydney, drive to Jervis Bay, hold the car while you visit Hyams Beach, Booderee National Park and Huskisson, and drive you home. The A$680 fixed fare covers the driving and waiting; park entry, cruise tickets and meals are not included.

Jervis Bay is three hours away — is a day trip realistic?

Yes, with an early start. A morning departure gives you the full middle of the day at the bay — beach time at Hyams, a walk in Booderee, lunch at Huskisson — before the drive home. Because we drive both ways you arrive rested and can sleep on the way back rather than driving the highway in the dark.

Is the A$680 fare fixed for the whole day?

Yes. The day rate is locked in writing before you leave Sydney and covers the long drive each way and the waiting at every stop. Holiday traffic on the Princes Highway or an extra hour at the beach does not change the fare. The number you see is the number you pay.

What vehicle will we travel in?

A clean, late-model premium vehicle — a Lexus or Toyota sedan (Lexus ES, Camry or similar) for up to four, a Premium SUV (Kluger, Lexus RX or similar) for a bigger group or beach gear, or a Kia Carnival or similar people mover for larger parties. The exact vehicle is assigned by dispatch based on your group and availability.

Can we add a dolphin cruise or a bushwalk?

Yes — it is your day. Dolphin and whale cruises depart Huskisson and Booderee National Park has walking tracks and a lighthouse ruin at the southern end. Tell us your priorities when you book and we will balance beach, cruise and bushwalk against the available daylight.

How do we pay and what about the deposit?

A small A$10 deposit via Stripe secures the booking and goes towards your day rate. The balance is settled on the day by card on file, in-vehicle EFTPOS or cash. The total never exceeds the fixed day rate quoted at booking.
