Arriving at a big airport after a long flight is easier when someone is there to meet you. The airport meet and greet is an optional extra on a Sydney Fixed Fare Taxi arrival booking. Instead of finding the pickup area on your own, your driver meets you at arrivals with a name board and helps with your luggage. The transfer itself stays exactly what it always is: one fixed fare agreed before you travel, with no meter and no surge. The meet and greet is a clearly labelled extra of A$25, quoted upfront at booking and never added silently afterwards. It suits first-time visitors, families, older travellers and anyone who simply prefers a friendly face after landing.

What the meet and greet includes

When you add the meet and greet at booking, your driver waits at the arrivals area with a name board showing the name on your booking. They help with your luggage and walk you to the vehicle. That is the whole service, and we keep it deliberately simple so there is nothing to misunderstand.

It is an optional extra on top of your fixed-fare transfer. If you are comfortable finding the pickup area yourself, skip it and the fare stays exactly as quoted. If you would like the reassurance, add it when you book. The extra is A$25 and it is shown before you confirm.

Flight tracking and what happens if you are delayed

We track your flight on airport bookings, so give us your flight number when you book. If your plane lands early or late, the pickup follows the flight rather than the original schedule. How to add a meet and greet

Use the booking form on this page. Choose your terminal, enter the address you are travelling to and set passengers and luggage. The fare appears first. Then you add your contact details, we verify your phone number by SMS, and once your booking is confirmed we text and email a secure payment link. Who it suits

International visitors arriving for the first time often value the reassurance of a name board, particularly when the transfer is booked from overseas. Families with children, prams and several suitcases benefit from an extra pair of hands. Older travellers and anyone unfamiliar with the terminals may prefer to be met rather than search. Terminals and pickup areas

Sydney Airport has an international terminal and domestic terminals, and the pickup arrangements differ between them. Tell us your terminal and flight number and we will point your driver to the right place. Because pickup rules at the airport can change, we confirm the meeting point with you in your booking messages rather than promising a fixed spot on this page.

The same fixed-fare promise

A meet and greet does not change how the fare works. Tolls and the airport access fee are already in the fixed fare, there is no meter, and there is no surge, whatever time you land. Vehicles are clean, late-model Lexus or Toyota premium cars or similar, assigned by dispatch based on your passengers, luggage and availability.
